Please read our rental terms carefully before booking

Rental Rates & Billing

Rental rates are calculated on a Daily / Weekly / Monthly basis. However, a grace period of 1 hour is allowed after time due back.

Extra hours shall be charged at 10% of the daily rate per hour. 6 hours extra consider full day rental. Rates quoted are subject to change without prior notice.

Insurance Coverage

The rental rates include full indemnity for accidental damage to third party property and bodily injuries. However, the hirer is always responsible for an amount equivalent to the excess clause not exceeding amounts specified in the table below:

Hirer Responsibilities

The hirer is fully responsible for damage resulting from illegal activities, negligence, careless actions, tyre punctures, burst tyres, fuel errors, lack of electricity because of forgotten turned off electrical devices, loss or damage to vehicle accessories, and damage of windows, mirrors and undercarriage.

Third Party Accidents

If the accident or damage to vehicle is caused by a third party vehicle, then the hirer is responsible to get all third party details such as vehicle registration number, driver's name and driving license number. If claims cannot be made against third party insurance, therefore all damage will be borne by hirer subject to excess clause as mentioned above.

Accident Reporting

The hirer is required to inform our company and make a police report within 24 hours from the time of an accident or from the time you've found out about theft or loss and get police report in writing.

Fines & Penalties

The hirer is responsible for all parking fees or Traffic/JPJ/DBKK fines/compounds incurred during the rental period.

Cancellations & Amendments

No refund for any cancellation/amendment. Any amendment to date and type of car are subject to availability.

Rental Area Restriction

Rental area is within a radius of 200km from Kota Kinabalu City. Driving over 200km from Kota Kinabalu will be charged RM200 and subject to company permission.

Booking System

Online booking is an auto-accept booking system. Due to limited unit of vehicles, Zahra Rental has the right to exchange booked vehicle(s) with same class/type vehicles or cancel the bookings. Full refund will be returned to customers if such an incident occurred.

Driver Requirements

The tenant must have a valid driving license. Only the tenant who makes a booking can pick up the car. Only the tenant who picks up the car can drive the car (has authority).
